Not real sheet music. Kinda disappointed that this is just chords and lyrics, and no real notes to read. That means you need to know the melody and harmonies if you want to sing these correct. Wife hates this book, and she is a huge JD fan...So you won't really Strum and Sing these tunes unless you already pretty much know them, at least that is the way it was for us.
For playing the Ukelele, even though I'm a beginner, I prefer to play the notes rather than the chords.
Full of errors...About half these songs are not accurate...they print the the lyrics and then just put random chords over them.
This book does not contain music staff with notes with the songs. It has only the chords, so if you don't know the song well, you're lost. Also it has fingering charts for only soprano uke; I play a baritone. I ended up returning it.
If you play a uke and loved John Denver songs, then you MUST own this book!! It is well written and illustrated (uke chords are clearly shown with the music)!! :-)
Book contains only the words and chords for the songs. Would have preferred having the songs notated for the songs I'm not sure of the melody. Have to use a separate book for that.
I like most of the songs and its a good book. Fairly easy to follow. Easy chords for the most part, but could benefit from a CD with music to you can get the melody.
Great song book, includes songs I'm not familiar with. Difficulty level from easy (3 chords) to multiple chords. I love John Denver's music, miss him a great deal.
